William married Emma on 20 Mar 1882 in Berlin, Camden County, New Jersey. They had one child named Vivian. Emma died on 26 Dec 1883 and Vivian died on 8 Aug 1884.

Believe that Emma who died on 26 Dec 1883 that she was William’s first wife because this Emma lived her entire life and died where William lived and she is the correct age. Emma was 22 years and 6 months old when she died from Phitrisis according to Doctor Iszard. She was interred in the Williamstown Methodist Cemetery where her husband was interred. Emma is interred next to William in the Williamstown Methodist Cemetery behind the church.”
