“Funeral services were conducted Friday, December 11, 1970 at 2:00 p.m. in the Callaway-Smith Chapel for ANDREW C. WARE, 98, life-long resident of the Marlow area, who died early Wednesday (Dec. 9, 1970) in a Marlow nursing home.
Andrew Ware married Annie D. Burg, April 23, 1896, at McAlester, Indian Territory (now Pittsburg County, Oklahoma). She preceded him in death in September of this year.
He was a blacksmith, retired farmer and a member of the Assembly of God Church of Marlow.
Survivors include one son, Dewey G. Ware of Moore, Okla.; one daughter, Mrs. Paul (Mary) Sorenson of Long Beach, Calif.; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Rev. H.C. Eslinger conducted the services.
Pallbearers were Joe Blundell, Robert Ross, Carlous Carter, Roy Barnett, Troy Patterson and Jim Goins.
Burial was in Marlow cemetery.”

Andrew Cyrus ware would be my great great grandfather thru daughter Marie ware Terhune, mother to Myrtle Terhune, mother of Bonnie Stedman from first marriage, who was my mother. I would love any info or pictures if anyone’s willing to share.
