“Ruth Hall Stratton married George W. Ware. They had two daughters, Ruth Mildred Ware (who married Milton D. Barnum) and Laura Myrtle Ware (who married Wayne Kangas).

Ruth was an accomplished seamstress, and water-colorist. She and her two sisters, Jeannette Stratton and Josephine Stratton were water-colorists for the photographer Wallace Nutting.
Ruth’s quilts and braided rugs are still enjoyed today as are the water-colored photographs.”
