Samuel Ware’s (c1758-1830) first record was that of  his Revolutionary War record,

1776-9. Afterwords he is found on a petition in 1786, King & Queen Co.Va., and in Middlesex co. by 1790.

The attached plat map, drawn by Pam Miller, is from the Deed, 2/28/1792, for 86 1/2 acres, from William & Jane Owen, Bk. 11, Middlesex Co., pg. 75-76-77, for whatever reason the west boundary was not marked by poles but rather just followed his neighbors line to the beginning.

This property is about 2 miles east of the Ware Bridge, on the Briery Swamp Rd., and just west of Jamaica…
