Marvin Everett Ware Obituary, 2005

GREENVILLE – Funeral services for Marvin Everett Ware, 40, of Vian, Okla., and formerly of Greenville, a riverboat captain, were today at 2 p.m. at Smith Funeral Home chapel, Greenville. He died of heart failure June 4, 2005, in Pine Bluff, Ark. Burial will be in Indianola City Cemetery, Indianola.

Mr. Ware was born Aug. 15, 1964, in Sunflower County to the late Thomas “Tommy” and Peggy Hitchcock Ware. He moved to Greenville at an early age, where he grew up and attended public school. He has been a resident of Vian, Okla., for the past 10 years. He was a riverboat captain and was employed with Jantran Inc. at the time of his death.

Survivors include: his wife, Patricia Ware of Vian, Okla.; one stepson, William Dale Snyder Jr. of Slidell, La.; two stepdaughters, Wanda Duggan of Grove, Okla., and Susan Ferguson of Vian, Okla.; one brother and sister-in-law, Chuck and Margie Frazier of Leland; two sisters, Terry Ware of Crossett, Ark., and Melissa Thronson of Greenville; and 10 step-grandchildren.

The Rev. James Dykes officiated.
