CLARKSDALE – Minnie Ware Green, 83, retired owner of Green’s Dry Goods Store, died Friday at Northwest Mississippi Medical Center. Services will be at 1 p.m. today at McNeil Funeral Home with burial in Moorhead City Cemetery. She was a member of First United Methodist Church and the Order of the Eastern Star. Mrs. Green, the widow of George W. Green, leaves a son, George W. Green Jr. of Bartlett; a sister, Elizabeth Brock of Greenwood, two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
