CHEROKEE AGENCY, EAST, March 31, 1834.
We certify that the above roll exhibits a true statement of the improvements abandoned by Austin Copeland, Philip Ussing, Ruby Tucker, George Harlin, Joshua Roach, David Ross, Ezekiel B. McLaughlin, Charles G. Duncan, Elizabeth Ware and her children, John Ware and wife Elizabeth, William Ratliff, John Beck, James Starr, James B. Henson, James McGray, Henry Nave, William Wilson, Michael Waters, Samuel Wilson, Archibald Wilson, Alexander Wilson, and Thomas Swimer, Cherokee emigrants from the Cherokee nation east to the Cherokee nation west of the Mississippi; and that the houses and lots were carefully examined, the fruit trees counted, the land admeasured, and prices affixed thereto, agreeably to the customary prices of the country and the best of our judgments. Given under our hands the date above written.
