Florence J. Ware, 71, a loving mother, went to be with her Lord on Friday, Oct. 21, 2011. Service: 1 p.m. Wednesday at Azle Church of Christ, 336 Northwest Parkway in Azle. Interment: Wizard Wells Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Biggers Funeral Home. Memorials: Memorial gifts may be made to Azle Church of Christ, 336 Northwest Parkway, Azle, Texas 76020 or The American Heart and Stroke Association, 2630 West Freeway, Suite 250, Fort Worth, Texas 76102.

Florence Jane McDuff was born in Fort Worth on Nov. 6, 1939, to Loyd and Beulah McDuff. She graduated from North Side High School and attended Texas Christian University. She was married to John Hollice Ware on March 25, 1967, in Fort Worth. Mr. Ware preceded her in death on June 9, 1993. Florence worked for Southwestern Bell Telephone and AT&T for 35 years as a district manager of training operations for 35 years. She later worked for Sprint Communications in the training department for five years before retirement. Mr. and Mrs. Ware were longtime members of Azle Church of Christ.

Survivors: Her daughter, Amy Kathleen Ware; nieces, Barbara Ware, Belinda Simmions and husband, Jim; great-niece, Christina Ossowaski, her husband, Stan, her daughter, Hannah; great-nieces and great-nephews, Chad, Austin, Morgan, Alyssa and Cecil Wayne; cousins, Jeanette Stribling, Don Holland, his wife, Ann, and family; special friend, Roy D. Ottmer; a large extended family; and a host of friends.
