Jesse C. Ware

“Jesse C. Ware acted as Chief Marshal, who with several assistants, caused every thing to be conducted systematically, so that the best order prevailed; and it was a noted fact that during the three days’ exhibition there was not an intoxicated man seen in town.

Ware was a physician by profession, one of the early settlers of Iowa, and took great interest in agricultural fairs.”
