“Sir,

On a late Enquiry before the Excheator General on an information of John and Jacob Ware against the Estate of John Parrock deceased it appears to the Inquest that the Estate paid Parrock had been forfeited by the Attainder of said Parrock to the Commonwealth and that the life Estate only of said had been sold by the Commissioners forfeited Estates altho’ it appeared to us that the Estate in fee was vested in him–As he was afterwards pardoned and made a will which was duly proven we could not find that he died intestate, but as it appears to us that there is a very Considerable Estate which belongs to the Commonwealth a part of which is held by those who purchased only the life Estate of said Parrock, we submit to your Excellency that state of the Case that Such measures may be taken on the part of the Commonwealth as to you therein may appear just and proper and are with great respect.

Your Excellencys Most Obedt. humble Servt.

CLEMENT BIDDLE

Escheator General,

Philadelphia

Febry. 10, 1802.”
