“THE HIGH SCHOOL S. C. A.

The regular semi-annual election of the High School S. C. A. occurred last Friday afternoon. The meeting opened with a lively song service, followed by sentence prayers. The president, Miss Ware, then gave a brief review of the work of the past term and thanked the members of the cabinet and of the Association for their hearty co-operation in the work. After several other nominations had been made in addition to those made the week before, the society proceeded to elect by ballot. The new cabinet is as follows:

Mildred L. Ware, President.

Effie Godfrey, 1st Vice-President.

Harry Moore, 2nd Vice-President.

Albert Benham, Secretary.

Richard Paxson, Treasurer.

Samuel McGonigal, Bulletin Editor.

Miss Daley, Pianist.

Louise Pardon, chairman of Social Committee.

Mr. Turner, chairman of Devotional Committee.

John Jeffers, chairman of Membership Committee.

The president, Miss Ware, has been earnest and sincere in all her work, and her enthusiasm and cordiality has greatly influenced the Association. Miss Godfrey, the 1st vicepresident, who has been chairman of the social committee during the past term, and the other members of the cabinet who have been active in the work of the society, will be able assistants of the president.

The Association is in a very flourishing condition. New members have been added at nearly every meeting. The average attendance since the beginning of the school year has been 51 and is still increasing. Their meetings are held every Friday afternoon at 4:45 and members of the University S. C. A. should plan to visit their meetings if they have not yet done so.”
