“Ware, Rachel 1848-1922

Rachael Ware, the wife of Shedrick Ware, was daughter of McClure and Laura Towsend Bickel, and a niece to Grandma Diane Bickel Mollohan, Bernard Mollohan’s mother.

The Ware family lived up Lick Run from Marpleton, and  members of ‘Aunt Rach’s’ family were buried there. ‘Aunt Rach’ moved to Marpleton to stay with her daughter and son-in-law,  Henry Sr. and Roda Ware Wilmot.

From the stories I have heard, not everyone was happy with the arrangement.  Aunt Annie Mollohan Herrron is said to gone to Marpleton and sit up with ‘Aunt Rach’ the night before her funeral.”
