“Rev. T. L. Boykin Ware, departed this life on February 9, 2011, was the Pastor of Shady Grove Baptist Church for 30 years where he served until he was called home. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mrs. Jennie Ware; his parents, daughter, son and three brothers. He leaves to cherish his memories, five daughters, Florestine (Homer) Walker of Prichard, AL, Olivia Price, Augustine Taylor, Mary Canady, and Carolyn McClemore, all of Cleveland, OH; three sons, Robert (Voncille) Ware, Joe (Nellie) Ware both of Prichard, AL and Tommie Ware, Jr., of Cleveland, OH; two brothers, seven sisters, forty grandchildren, and six generations of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. His remains will lie in state Friday, February 18, 2011 from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Small’s Mortuary, Mobile, AL. Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 19, 2011, beginning at 11:00 a.m. and the family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. until the 1:00 p.m. funeral hour at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church, 350 Chandler Street, Prichard, AL.
