“Lizzie M. Ware, departed this life Thursday, May 14, 2009 at age 73.

She was preceded in death by her husband, McLellan Ware.

She is survived by her sons, McLellan Ware, Jr. (Pam) of Middletown, DE and Martin S. Ware of Richmond; two brothers, Richard Stroman (Elizabeth) of Washington, DC and Edward Stroman (Anne) of Columbia, SC; three grandchildren, Cachet, Gabriel and Jordan; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.

Viewing 10am Wednesday, May 20, 2009, followed by funeral services 11am at Moore Street Missionary Baptist Church, 1408 W. Leigh Street. Dr. Alonza L. Lawrence officiated. Interment Virginia Veterans Cemetery at Amelia.
