MOUNT HOLLY, N.C. – Mrs. Mary Etta Montgomery Ware, 83, died Friday, Aug. 12, 2005, at Eden Gardens of Rock Hill.

A graveside service will be 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Pineview Cemetery, with the Rev. Drs. Dennis Knight and Robert Winecoff officiating.

A native of Lancaster, Mrs. Ware was a daughter of the late Lee O. Montgomery and Viola Blackmon Montgomery. She retired as a typing teacher from Mount Holly High School and was a member of First Baptist Church. She was the widow of T.L. Ware Jr.

Surviving are her adopted family, George, Stephanie and Christina Bo of Stanley, N.C.; two nephews; two nieces; and a number of great-nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends after the service at the cemetery.
