James A. “Sparkey” Ware of Grove City passed away April 12, 2002 at Monterey Care Center. He was a member of Grove City Christian Church, West Gate Lodge 623 F&AM and was a Past Worthy Patron of Robert Morris Chapter 372 OES. Retired from OSU. He was graduate of Hamilton Township High School and was a US Navy veteran of WWII. Preceded in death by his parents Roy and Evelyn Ware and brother John David Ware. Survived by his wife, Jean; sons: David and Robert Ware; grandchildren: Ian, Jenna and Kelly Ware; great grandchildren: Jacob and Brittney Ware. Visitation Monday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at MILLER FUNERAL HOME 2697 Columbus St. Grove City where funeral will be Tuesday 1 p.m. John Hays officiating. Interment Obetz Cemetery. Carl Joseph Ware Obituary, 2002

Carl Joseph (Pappy) Ware, 78, of Crestwood, formerly of Akron, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, May 22, 2002, after a two-year battle with cancer.

He was born in Belington, W. Va., on March 12, 1924, to the late Darl E. and Vanda Offhaus Ware. He was retired from Goodyear Tire & Rubber with 45 years service. He was a Presbyterian, a Mason with the Blue Lodge 568 Valley of Canton, and a Shriner, belonging to Tadmor Temple of Akron.

He will be dearly missed by his loving wife of 46 years, the former Mildred (Millie) Thomas; daughter, Stephanie Ballard (Dale) of LaGrange; son, Douglas Ware (Teresa) of Crestwood; grandchildren, Chad, Brooke, and Eric Ballard, Ali (“Sweet Petutti”) and Kevin Ware; brothers, Frederick Ware of Manchester, Conn., Keith Ware (Annajean) of Cleveland Heights, Ohio; sisters, Luella Everitt (George) of Mt. Clare, W. Va., and Ruth Phillips (Bob Sutt) of Belington, W. Va.; and many nieces and nephews who loved him very much.

Funeral Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Stoess Funeral Home in Crestwood with burial at Floydsburg Cemetery. Visitation will be 2 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Louisville or the Salem Assembly of God Church in Pewee Valley.

Margaret Ellen Kline Ware Josse Pugh, 89, formerly of 2357 Broadway St., Sidney, Oh., died 8 p.m. Sunday, August 11, 2002 at Dorothy Love Retirement Center. Born December 9, 1912 in Logan County, Oh., daughter of William and Blanche Spiker Kline. On December 28, 1935 she married Roy M. Ware, who died June 8, 1958, in 1969 she married Dr. C.K. Josse, who died in 1977 and in 1996 she married Clyde Pugh, who died in 2000. She was a teacher and principal with the Fairlawn Local Schools until she retired in 1977. She attended Ohio Northern University. Member of Lady Shriners, American Cancer Board, Past Worthy Matrons of the Eastern Star, Charter member of the Rain Bow Gardeners Club. Member Pasco United Methodist Church. Preceded in death by 2 brothers. Survived by sons, Brooks (Judy) Ware of Sidney, Oh., Bruce (Janie) Ware of Nashville, Tenn., Larry (Linda) Ware of Burlington, N.C. and W. Mac (Helen) Ware of Columbus, Oh.; 10 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; sister, Madge Bendle of Sun City Center, Fla. He was a lifetime resident of this community.

He is survived by son, Corey Suggs; daughters, Shalana Suggs, Shana Hosey, Monique Sales, and Erica Amos; mother, Geraldine Ware, all of Akron; father, Walter Ware of Detroit, Mich.; brothers, Walter T. DOYLESTOWN — Roger D. Ware, age 63, passed away unexpectedly on April 17, 2015 at his home.

Born on November 25, 1951 in Akron to the late Harvey and Roxie (Tanner) Ware, he was a resident of Doylestown, previously of Manchester. Roger was employed by the Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co., and was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.

Preceded in death by his brother, Tommy Joe Ware; he is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Patricia; sons, Matthew (Stephanie) Ware of Canton, Nathan Ware of Jackson; grandchildren, Madisyn and Peyton; brother, Jimmie (Kathryn) Ware of Port Charlotte, Fla.; sister, Sandra Bennett of Marshallville; other family and friends.

William Joseph Ware, of Newport passed away on Monday, October 29, 2012 at his home at the age of 53. Mr. Ware was born July 20, 1959 in Covington, KY. to William Ware and Carolyn(Kerns)Moore.

Mr. Ware leaves to mourn his passing his wife: Nancy(Beck)Ware of Newport., father: William Ware of Mayslick,KY., step-mother: Joyce Cook of Newport., 4 daughters: Tabatha Hubbard of Ohio, Billie Jo Ware of Ft. Thomas, Heather Norris of Covington and Melina Miller of Ohio., 4 sons: William Joseph Ware, Jr of Alexandria, Damien(Harley)Ware of Newport, Adam Miller of Newport and Ronnie Ross of Newport., 3 sisters: Paula Ware of Newport, Debbie Ware of Ft. Thomas and Crystal Said of Newport., 3 brothers: Charles Ware of Mayslick, KY., Allen Ware of Newport and Tony Baldwin of Highland Heights., 18 grandchildren.

Funeral services for Mr. Ware will be conducted 12:00 pm Monday, November 5 at the Garrard Street Church of Christ in Covington. Visitation will be at the church from 10:00 am until the time of service. Burial will be in the Floral Hills Memorial Gardens in Taylor Mill.
