Sidney Nahm Ware (1882 – )

“WARE, Sidney Nahm, lawyer; born Louisville, Ky., June 12,1882; son Oscar W. and Cemmie (Nahm) Ware: came to Chicago with parents 1885; grad. Douglas Grammar School, 1897: student Hyde Park High School 1 year; attended evening school until completion of preliminary edn., 1900; LL.B, Chicago-Kent Coll. of Law, 1903; unmarried.  In employ of law firm of Burley & McSurely.  1898-1901; with Gregory,  Poppenhusen & McNab 1 year; and with Musgrave, Vroman & Lee, 1903-7; practiced alone since Apr. 1907.  Independent Democrat.  Chicago Bar Assn., Mason (Tracy Lodge No. 810 A.F.&A.M.).  Vice-pre. and dir. The Universal Club of Chicago.  Recreations: tennis, golf, skating, baseball, football, basket ball, track, rowing, sailing.  Residence 4408 Ellis Av.  Office 1014 19 S. La Salle St.”
