Arthur Ware, family

James Daniel , B- 12 May,1715, died 1779, Middlesex Co. Va.,
apparently unmarried. He was a merchant at Urbanna , & owned a Plantation on the Briary swamp, his will of 21 July, 1767; proved 28 June, 1779 with Robert Thurston as Administrator of his estate, who was his brother inlaw, it reads inpart.

To my loving brother inlaw Arthur Ware & his children one half of my estate etc.
A division of the estate was order 26 July, 1779, & his slave’s were divided
6 Aug. 1779 as follows : To Arthur Ware’s children 4 slave’s , etc.

An indenture made 10 Aug. 1779, reads inpart as follows ;
William Ware & wife Mary of North Carolina, Edward Didlake & wife Jane
Arthur Ware & wife Mary, and Isaac Ware & wife Clary of one part sale to
Robert Thurston of the second part, 122 acre’s a ……? part of the Plantation of land Formerly owned by James Daniel, for dec’d for 1000.00 current money of Va. ect.
Isaac Digges signed for our Isaac as he had apparently moved out of the County.
