J. Allen Ware (1845 – )

“WARE, J. Allen, railway construction; born in Salem County, N.J., Mar. 5, 1845; son of Clement A. and Lydia (Allen) Ware; educated in public schools; widower; children:  J. Allen Jr., Mrs Lydia Borton.

Engaged in railroad tie business in Jefferson City, Mo., until 1875; then located in St. Louis, and has since been identified with railway construction.

Member Business Men’s League.  Mason. Club: Noonday.

Office: 500 Chestnut St.  Residence: Bridgeton, St. Louis County, Mo.”
