Ex-vice president Consolidated Fireworks Co. and ex-foreman of Grand Jury. Member New York Athletic and Lotos Clubs, Seventh Regiment Veteran Association, Old Guard, Sons of the Revolution and Lafayette Post G. A. R.

WARE, WILLIAM ROBERT—Architect and Professor, 116th street and Morningside Heights, New York City; residence 130 East 27th street. Born in Cambridge, Mass., May 27, 1832. Educated at Phillips Exeter Academy and at Harvard (A.B., ’52, and LL.D., ’96). (Single.) Practiced architecture in Boston, Mass., 1860-81; professor of architecture at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, 1865-81; professor of same at Columbia University in the City of New York since 1881. Member City Club, Architectural League, New England Society, Century Association and Metropolitan Museum of Art.
