Edwin Ware (1842 – )

”WARE EDWIN, Farmer; Sec. 24;P. O. Rockford; born in Hancock, Hillsboro Co., N. H., Jan. 81, 1842; he came to this Co. in March, 1876; married Agnes McQuaters, Dec. 16, 1866; she was born in Tariffville, Conn., Jan. 6, 1845; Winifred A. and Ernest E. are their only children; Mr. Ware enlisted in the 18th N. H. V. I., serving 3 years; his Regt. planted the first U. S. infantry flag in Richmond.”
