Clyde Henry Ware Obituary, 2011

 

STOYSTOWN — WARE – Clyde Henry, Stoystown, died Jan. 20, 2011, at Memorial Medical Center. Born Aug. 4, 1926, in Friedens, son of the late James and Cora (Sarver) Ware. Also preceded in death by brothers, Edison, Harry and Donald; and sisters, Irene Berkebile, Myrtle Baird, Anna Menser, Dorothy Good and Effie Krause. Survived by his wife of 64 years, Hazel Jane (Ginter) Ware; sisters, Nellie Klotz and Marion Zimmerman; and children, Clyde I. Ware, married to Lorrie (Reed), Stoystown; JoAnnette, married to Norbert Rosenbaum, Stoystown; Mark D. Ware, married to Janis (Dabbs), Friedens; and Kyle L. Ware, Friedens; grandchildren, Shawn Ware, Rebecca Ware, Matthew Rosenbaum, Anjanette (Rosenbaum) Daniels, Molly (Rosenbaum) Moody, Beth (Rosenbaum) Wiley, Adam Rosenbaum, Christopher Rosenbaum, Aaron Rosenbaum, Michael Rosenbaum, Hannah Ware, Cooper Ware, Hadley Ware, Cameron Ware and Kylee Ware; and great-grandchildren, Cheyanne Ware, Savannah Ware, Hope Oaks, Eddie Oaks, Alexander Rosenbaum, Caileb Rosenbaum, Jonathan Daniels, Emily Daniels, Jeremiah Daniels, Ethan Rosenbaum, Cora Moody, Hunter Rosenbaum,  Kaylee Rosenbaum and Olivia Rosenbaum. He attended Friedens School and Vale Technical Institute. Certified automobile mechanic for GM for 33 years and was a retired maintenance and repairman for Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission at Somerset Historical Center. He was a PFC in Company B, 127th Engineers, 11th Airborne Division in the Asiatic Pacific Theater. Hobbies included restoring and working on antique farm tractors and  his family. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday and from 10 a.m. until time of memorial service at 11 a.m. Monday at Friedens Lutheran Church, the Rev. Edward DeVore and the Rev. Walter Startzell, officiating. Interment, Somerset County Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, family request donations be made to Somerset County Historical Society, 10649 Somerset Pike Somerset, Pa. 15501. Arrangements under the direction of Robert H.   1. Sounds like Clyde had a good education, vocation and family. I’ll bet his family couldn’t be happier with all the $$$$ in the world. And he was in the Airborne to boot.
