“Death Date Wednesday, March 16, 1988

Louella WARE, 101, former teacher. Louella WARE, 101, of Yellville died Wednesday, March 16 at Central Ozarks Medical Center in Yellville. A retired school teacher, Mrs. WARE was born at Rush September 26, 1886 the daughter of Joseph W. SNIPES and Mary Ann HOLLIS SNIPES. She was a member of the Yellville United Methodist Church and a lifetime resident of Marion County. Survivors include a brother, Milton SNIPES, Yellville, one step grandson, Leslie WARE and two step granddaughters, Lillian Leslie and Neville DAVENPORT, all of California. She was preceded in death by her parents, her step mother, her husband, Dr. John C. WARE, three sisters and nine brothers. Services for Mrs. WARE were held Saturday, March 19 at the Yellville United Methodist Church with Rev. Thomas Yoder officiating. Pallbearers included David HURST, Jimmy SNIPES, Russell Lee JAMES, Doyle WOOD, Virgil OTT, Jr., and Bobby Joe OTT. Burial was in the Pleasant Ridge Cemetery under the direction of Burns Funeral Home of Yellville.”
