"WARE, BOBBY SANDERS
A retired Crown-Zellerbach Paper Mill machinist
and resident of Jackson, he died at 1:30 a.m.
Thursday, Jan. 22, 1998, at Lane Memorial Hospital,
Zachary.
He was 68 and a native of Battle. He was a U.S.
Navy veteran of the Korean conflict, having received
the United Nations Ribbon, Good Conduct Medal,
Second Award, National Defense Service Medal and Navy
Occupation Medal (Europe). He was a special East
Feliciana Parish sheriff's deputy from 1964 to 1968
and a member of the sheriff's posse. Survived by
wife of 38 years, Miriam Schwartz Ware, Jackson;
three daughters and sons-in-law, Violet W. and David
Wall, McComb, Miss., Barbara W. and Shannon Watts,
Clinton, and Lily W. and James E. McGrath, Perry; a
son, James Eugene Ware, Jackson; six grandchildren,
Davenia Warren and Jerad Wall, Jackson, Tammanice
Fleming, Clinton, Bobby James and John McGrath and
Alexis McGrath, all of Perry; two great-grandchildren,
Ariel Cheyene Peters and Dakota Wayne Peters, both of
Jackson; a great-grandson, Dustin Duane Wall, due to
be born in April; and nieces and nephews, including
Robert Woods, Baton Rouge. Preceded in death by parents,
Julian and Barbara Sanders Ware; and a sister, Stella
Woods. He was a member of Apostolic Tabernacle."
