"State Representative Dead
Information was received here [Thursday] morning,
that Hon. G.W. Ware of Jermyn died at his home 13
February 1929.
At the time of his death Mr. Ware had just entered
upon his second term as representative from this the
101st district but because of ill health head not
attended any of the sessions of the present session
of the legislature.
At different times Mr. Ware had been honored by the
citizens of Jack County with public office having
previously served as county commissioner, tax assessor
and county chairman of the Democratic party to which he
consistently held allegiance. For the past several years
he had been in the gin and cotton business at Jermyn.
He was a member of the Jermyn Methodist Church.
Surviving: widow; 4 sons - Coy, Harry, Fred and George
Ware, Jr.; 2 daughters - Mrs. Walter Wells, Miss Alma
Ware."
