"MOUNT HOPE - Geraldine B. Lewis, 75, of 417 Lincoln St., 
died of natural causes Tuesday, Aug. 24, 1999, in a Salem, 
Va., hospital. 

Born Feb. 3, 1924, at Sun, she was the daughter of the late 
Jerry and Alice Ware Booker. 

Mrs. Lewis was a homemaker and a member of Glorious Church 
of God in Christ, Mount Hope. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew Lewis;
and two sisters. 

Survivors include her children, Noel Booker of Mount Hope, 
Kent Booker and his wife, Beline, of Clarksville, Tenn., 
Vaughn Booker of Baltimore, Gregory Booker of Frankfurt, 
Germany, Terrance Booker of Mount Hope, Sharon Booker of 
Roanoke, Va., Debra Clark and her husband, Milton, of Roanoke,
Va., Ollie Wilson Kasey and her husband, Harold, of Chesapeake, 
Va., Edna Lewis and her husband, Arthur, of Norfolk, Va., 
and Kate Revels and her husband, Michael, of Sharpsburg, Ga.; 
15 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a brother, George 
Booker of Flint, Mich.; and three sisters, Catherine Bradford 
of Harvey, Clara Mae Johnson of Mount Hope and Joann Booker 
of Beckley. 

Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Glorious Church of God 
in Christ, Mount Hope, with Bishop John Grant officiating.
Entombment will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, 
Beckley. 

Friends may call one hour before services Saturday at 
the church.
