Martha Annette Ware Obituary, 2005

"Martha Annette Ware, nee Camerer, was born Wednesday, 
October 2, 1946, in Green County, Illinois, a daughter
of the late Darrell Camerer and Frances Camerer 
(nee Koeling). She departed this life Monday, May 9, 2005, 
at the Missouri Baptist Medical Center, Sullivan, Missouri, 
at the age to 58 years, 7 months and 7 days. In addition to 
her parents, she was preceded in death by and infant daughter, 
Laurie Lynn Strowmatt and her father-in-law, Franklin Ware. 
Among those who remain to mourn her passing are her loving 
husband, Virvine Ware of the home on White River Road, 
Steelville, Missouri. Three daughters, Jeanne Austin of 
East Alton, Illinois, Rhonda and husband John Barks of Alton, 
Illinois, Lori Strowmatt and friend John Adams of Dillard, 
Missouri. Mother-in-law Fannie Ware of Cherryville, Missouri; 
one brother, Phillip Camerer and fiancee Beverly Henson of
Eldred, Illinois; one step-son, Rodney Ware and wife Debbie 
of Sullivan, Missouri; two step-daughters, Rebecca Kay Stricklin 
and husband Mike of St. Clair, Missouri and Laura Ware of Joshua, 
Texas. Grandchildren, Rikki Watts and Chase Ware of the home, 
Bryan Strowmatt, Camille Demond, Lauren Austin, and Elijah Ryan; 
step-grandchildren, Ashley and Scotty Pelton, Kara and Katie
Stricklin, Kayle Ware, Viola Kayes, Samantha and Mikki Watring
and Alicia McWilliams. Also remaining are brothers-in-law and 
sisters-in-law, Leonard Ware of Bourbon, Missouri, Curtis and
Grace Ware, Loyd and Jackie Ware all of Cherryville, Missouri,
Bill and Maryln Ware of Steelville and Judy and Jim Loveless of 
Cuba, Missouri; nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and 
friends. Martha gave her life to Christ, was baptized and became
a member of First Baptist Church, Hettick, Illinois. She attended 
faithfully at First Baptist Church, Cherryville, Missouri. Martha 
Annette Ware lay in state 4-8 p.m. Friday, May 13, 2005, at the 
Britton Brothers Funeral Home, Steelville, Missouri. Funeral 
services were held 10 a.m. Saturday, May 14, 2005, in the Britton
Chapel with Rev. James Umfrees officiating. Musical selections 
were provided by vocalist Rebecca Stricklin and Patti Campbell. 
Steve Eads accompanied them on the guitar. Committal prayers 
and interment were in Roselawn Cemetery, Bethalto, Illinois 
with John Britton officiating. Serving as pallbearers were Rikki 
Watts, Bryon Strowmatt, Craig Camerer, Rodney Ware, John Barks, 
John Adams and Mike Stricklin. Arrangements were entrusted to 
the care of Britton Funeral Home, Steelville, Missouri."
