"Carl W. Ware, pastor of the Methodist church at Reydon
was found dead Monday, August 2, 1965.

His wife and two children had been away for the weekend. 
Rev. Ware conducted church services as usual Sunday. 
Monday when his wife returned home the house was locked 
and she was unable to enter.  She summoned a neighbor, 
Orville Conrad and together they opened the door.  Rev.
Ware was lying on the bed.  According to the physician 
who was called he had been dead several hours.

He is survived by his wife, a daughtger, Debra 12, and a 
son C.W. Jr. 10.

Funeral services will be at the Reydon community building
 Thursday August 5, 1965 
at 9 a.m.

Scroggins and son will be in charge of arrangements."
