"Rosella Marie Ware of Bourbon, Mo. passed away on Saturday,
August 17, 2002 at the age of 80 years.
Mrs. Ware was born on January 8, 1922 in Cuba, Mo. to Ben
and Georgia (Fleming) Chapman, and has remained a lifelong
resident of the Bourbon and Cuba area. On June 27, 1939 she
was joined in marriage to Estel R. "Bud" Ware at Steelville,
Mo., and to their union six children were born. In addition
to serving her family as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother,
and homemaker, Marie worked diligently at the Circle Inn Malt
Shop in Bourbon for over 25 years. She enjoyed crocheting,
working with flowers, and was well known for her delicious,
baked pies. Marie was a follower of the Baptist faith, and
will be cherished and remembered as a strong yet sweet person.
She is survived by three sons, Leonard Ware and wife, Tammy,
Robert Ware, and Lawrence Ware, all of Bourbon; three daughter,
Berniece Quinton and husband, Dale, of West Fork, Arkansas,
Elaine Steuernagel of Bourbon, and Kat Rigas of Sarasota,
Florida; one sister, Dorothy McWilliams of Bloomfield, New
Mexico; 16 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, other
relatives and friends. Mrs. Ware was preceded in death by
her parents and her husband.
Funeral services were conducted at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, August
20, 2002 from the Eaton Chapel in Bourbon with Pastor Harold
Harrison officiating.
Interment was in Delhi Cemetery. Visitation was from 59 p.m. on
Monday, August 19, 2002 at the Eaton Chapel in Bourbon.
