William E. Wagner Sr., 58, of Meyersdale, was welcomed home
by the Lord Saturday, Sept. 5, 1998. Born March 31, 1940 in
Salisbury. Beloved husband for 37 years of Sylvia (Ware) Wagner.
Son of Ellen F. (Brown) Wagner, Meyersdale, and the late Harry
E. Wagner. Beloved father of Cindy, wife of David McKenzie,
Meyersdale; Lynn, wife of Forrest Harvey, Murrysville; Debbie,
wife of Leonard Day Jr., Meyersdale; and Bill Jr., married to
the former Julie Stull, Somerset; Seven grandchildren: Brian,
Kayla and Brandy McKenzie; Nathan, Jordan and Andrea Harvey;
and Collin Day. Also survived by a sister: Jane Swartzwelder,
Salisbury. A member of the Meyersdale Grace Brethren Church,
Classic Chevy International, and the National Rifle Assoc.
Employed as a mechanic and bus driver for Fay and
Barbara Klink of Klink Bus Service, now Stewart Transportation.
He was also a former police officer for Meyersdale Borough.
An avid sportsman and classic car collector. Friends will be
received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at the Price Funeral Home,
Meyersdale. Service will be conducted at 1 p.m., Wednesday, at
the Meyersdale Grace Brethren Church, with Pastor Randy Haulk
officiating.
Interment Salisbury Cemetery."
