“Henry Ware Dies at Anniston Home

Funeral services for Henry Ware, who died Sunday morning at his home at 6:30 Gurnee Avenue, were to be held from the residence at 4 o’clock Monday afternoon with Rev. Perry Claxton, pastor of First Baptist Church, officiating. Intement was to be in Edgemont Ceme- with Stanley and White in charge.
Mr. Ware had been ill with pneumonia for about a week.
Pall bears are T. W. Cannon, Lewis Crosby, Paul Bentley, Hand Hinson, George Longer and George Moore.
Surviving Mr. Ware are the widow, a brother, James Ware of Billings, Mont., and a niece Mrs. Annie Keel, of Anniston.

Additional Information: Henry was born in Campbell County, Georgia to the parents Hester and William J Ware. His father died six months before his birth. Henry moved to Anniston, Alabama around 1898 with his mother and remained there the remainder of his life.
