Sally Ann Ware, died on Oct. 25, at age 79.
She was born Jan 24, 1932 in Oregon City, to Walter and Erma Daisy (Ream) Ware.
Ms. Ware was never married. She was a pitcher for the Portland Baseball Club Inc., a fast-pitch women’s league.
She worked at the Multnomah Athletic Club, Peavy Grain Broker in Portland and Columbia Grain in Portland.
Ms. Ware is survived by; her brother, John Ware; her nieces, Kathleen Nolin, Delores Green, and Deborah Ware; nephews, Michael McFall and Douglas Ware; seven great-nieces and nephews; and two great-great nieces and nephews.
She was preceeded in death by her sister, Sadie McFall, who died in 2009.
A graveside service will be held Nov. 4 at 11 a.m. at Mt. View Cemetery in Oregon City. A memorial service is set for Nov. 5 at 1:30 p.m. at Berry Park Retirement Community in Oregon City.
