“At the home of his son, southeast of this city, Monday, March 18, 1895, at 11 o’clock p.m. from paralysis, Mr. Samuel Ware, aged 76 years.
The deceased who was an excellent citizen, possessing a kind and genial nature, had been in poor health for some time previous to his death.
One or two slight strokes of paralysis had so debilitated him, both in mind and body, that a guardian of his person and estate became very necessary, and proceedings looking toward that results were taken last week.
He leaves a widow and two sons.
The funeral services, conducted by Rev. B.R. Gilbert, were held at the Congregational Church Wednesday morning at 10 o’clock.
The interment was in Greenwood Cemetery.”
