“Ware–At his home on Ferry street, Salem, Oregon, Wednesday, May 9, 1906, at 6 a.m., William Ware, aged 83 years of a complication of ailments attending old age.
The deceased’s wife and only child, a son, preceded him to the grave many years ago. For a number of years Mr. Ware was employed in the furniture store conducted in this city by the late J.A. Rotan, but of late years he had retired from active business life. He was a member of the First Methodist church.
The funeral will be conducted from the first Methodist church this afternoon at 1:30 o’clock, Rev. W.H. Selleck officiating. The interment will be in the family lot at Lee Mission cemetery.”
