James F. “Jim” Ware, born on October 27, 1934, went to be with the Lord and Saviour on Tuesday, October 2, 2012, in Pensacola, Fl. following complications from lung surgery.
Mr. Ware was a a Christian and attended Pensacola Worship Center in Pensacola, Fl. His life and quiet spirit were a testimony of his love for God and for his family and friends. He was a business owner up until he retired in 2004. He served his country in the United States Air Force.
Survivors include his wife, Audie, of Pensacola, Fl; daughters, Debbie (Mike) Majure of Hurley, MS, Beckie (Mack) Halton of Ridgeland, MS, and Terri (John) Solomon of Brandon, MS. He is also survived by a step-son, Stuart Welch, and step-daughater, Karen (Tim) Hinton of Pensacola, Fl; a sister, Frnakie (Bobby) McNair of Magee, MS; grandchildren, Britney Majure, Erin (Brad) Wilcutt, Stephen Haltom, Ashley Halton, Carly Solomon and Jared Soloman; his step-grandchildren, Lauren Mason and Camron Mason;; and great-grandchildren, Tatum Wilcutt and Camille Willcutt.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James Frank Ware and Lola Nichols Ware; brother, Viron Ware and Truitt Ware; and sister, Sue Ashley.
Visitation will be Friday, October 5, 2012, at 10:30 a.m. with the funeral service following at 11:30 a..m. at the Pensacola Worship Center, 5715 North “W” Street, Pensacola, FL. Interment will be in the Resthaven Gardens Cemetery at 1084 W. Massachusetts Avenue, Pensacola, FL.
Trahan Family Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Pallbearers are Stephen Haltom, Jared Soloman, Camron Mason, Alex Stierwalt,Brandon Hinton and Joey Miller.
The family would like to express a heartfelt thank you to the wonderful nurses and doctors at Sacred Heart Hospital who took care of Jim during his extended illness. You will never know what you kindness meant to us during this time.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Escambia County Animal Rescue League.
