“November 06, 1928 – December 02, 2011 Lucille Morrow Ware, age 83 of Murphy, NC passed away Friday, December 2, 2011 at her residence.

She was a native of Fannin County, GA but was lifelong resident of Cherokee County, NC; daughter of the late Simon Peter (Pete) and Doanie Baker Morrow. Lucille was a homemaker. She enjoyed gardening and quilting. Lucille was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a member of Maggies Chapel Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Hobart Tobe Ware; one son, Jerry Ware and one brother, Harford Morrow.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, December 5, 2011 at the Townson-Rose Funeral Home Chapel in Murphy. Rev. Doug Howard and Rev. Jacob Morrow will officiate. Music will be provided by the Howard family.

Burial will be in the Sunset Cemetery. Pallbearers will be grandsons, Darren Wilson, Brian Wilson, Jackie Ware, John Mason, Mark Ware, Derek Jones, Donnie Morrow and Mike Morrow. Honorary pallbearers will be John Brooks and Andrew Chastain.

The family will receive friends from 7-9 PM, Sunday, December 4, 2011 at the Townson-Rose Funeral Home in Murphy.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, Cherokee County Chapter, PO Box 1151, Murphy, NC 28906.
