“Ray Earl Ware, 65, died Friday, September 11, 1987, in Elkton, VA at the home of his sister, Edith Walton. He was born November 6, 1921, in Rockingham County, and was a son of the late Benjamin L. and Cora Elizabeth Blose Ware. He was a veteran of WWII. Surviving besides his sister, Mrs. Walton are two other sisters, Pearl Meadows and Nellie Herring, both of Elkton; and a brother, Owen Lee Ware of Durham, NC. Brill Funeral home is in charge of the arrangements.
