“Husband of first wife Ellen (Bobst) Ware and second wife Lavinia Ware and son of Mary V. (Coleman) and Uriah Ackley Ware Sr.
Ellen and Uriah were married before 1870 and it appears that Ellen died or they were divorced before 1904 because Uraiah married Lavinia about 1904. It was Lavinia’s second marriage and she had 5 children but none was alive in 1910 according to the census.
Uriah was a General Store Keeper and after his wife died he may have lived with his three single sisters since he also was living on Sicklerville Road prior to his death.
Uriah’s Will was written on 14 May 1924 and Probated on 4 Jun 1926. He left the estate to his three sisters, Emma, Elizabeth and Clara.
Uriah died from Cancinoma of the face. Uriah was interred in St. John’s Methodist Cemetery in Turnersville, Gloucester County, New Jersey on 23 May 1926. He was 82 years, one month and 23 days old and he died on Sicklerville-Turnersville Road. Emma Ware, his sister, was the Informant on his Death Certificate.”
