“Joseph Ware died Nov 3, 1955 at his home after a long illness. Survivors include his wife Allie Modisette Ware, two sons S. S. and Thomas, two daughters, Mrs. Major Hickman and Mrs. Dock Faulk. five sisters, Mrs. G. O. Traylor, Mrs. Finis Bailey, Mrs. J. A. Bailey, Mrs. Charlie Smith, and Mrs. J. W. Jones, two brothers, G. O. Ware and Mack Ware.  Nineteen Grandchildren and several Great great grandchildren. He was the Son of James McKinley and Mary Catherine Teague Ware.”
