“LELAND – Funeral services for Lucille Ware, 75, of Leland, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Peter M.B. Church, Leland.

She died Thursday, May 10, 2012, in Stoneville. Burial will be in Bogue Memorial Gardens, Leland, under the direction of Frye Funeral Home, Leland.

Lucille leaves to cherish her memories: 10 children, James (Prudence) Ware, of Tampa, Fla., Ada (Sylvester) Allen, of Leland, Randolph Ware, of Blythe, Calif., the Rev. Earnest (Patricia) Ware, of Greenwood, Shirley Vallery, of Greenville, Larry (Cynthia) Ware, of Indianola, Jerry Ware, of Leland, Gloria (Donnell) Macon, of Greenville, Rodney (LaToya) Ware, of Tacoma, Wash., and Roger (Franchetta) Ware, of Houston, Texas; a special grandson whom she raised, Jerry Jackson, of Leland; 43 grandchildren; 51 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grand; and 12 siblings and one uncle.

Visitation is from 1-5 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the family receiving friends from 5-6 p.m. The body will lie in state from 10-11 a.m. Saturday at the church.

The Rev. Earnest Ware will officiate.”
