“Mary Frances Ware, the little daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Perry C. ware, died Tuesday April 7, 1931 at the Highland Hospital, after having been rushed there in an attempt to save her life. The little girl had been ill for several days at the home in Haynesville when complications set in when it was thought that her illness might be cured at the Shreveport hospital. She was born August 1, 1927 and was three years, nine months and six days of age at the time of her death. She was a very pretty and happy little girl, the sunshine of the Ware home, and her going will be sadly missed by her mothe and father, other relatives and friends. It was one of the saddest funerals ever held in this community and the services as held by the Rev. Clower were very appropriate and touching, as he spoke words of sympathy to the bereaved family in this hour of distress. The entire citizenship of Haynesville and surrounding community joins with the News in extending sympathy to the bereaved family. The Ware family are well known in this section of the parish, having lived their entire lives here. Mr. Ware is one of the owners in the mercantile firm of Ware Bros. & Company at Haynesville.”
