“Mr. Shannon Henry Ware, 65, passed away Wednesday August 13, 2008 at Desoto Baptist Memorial Hospital in Southaven; MS. Visitation was Friday August 15, 2008 from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Wells Funeral Home. Funeral services were at Wells Funeral Home Chapel Saturday, August 16, 2008 with interment in Forrest Memorial Park. Mr. Ware was born May 24, 1943 in Panola County, MS to William Andrew & Minnie Mae Meahan Ware. He was a grain Elevator Operator and a Farmer. Mr. Shannon Ware is survived by his wife Lois Jenkins Ware of Oakland, MS; three daughters Misty Nicole Ware of Pope, MS, Pamela Gale Ware Grant of Pope, MS and Cindy Lavelle Ware Sparks of Pope, MS; two sons Ron Ferrell Ware of Oakland, MS and Andrew Walker “Andy” Ware of Pope, MS; two sister Melva Ware Bray of Southaven, Ms and Carol Anne Bryant of Marks, Ms; two brothers Monty Carl Ware of Batesville and Harold Dean Ware of Batesville, MS; ten grandchildren.
Preceded in death by his parents; one son Shannon Henry Ware, Jr.; one sister Nora Levelle Ware Joiner and four brothers Milton, Floyd, Robert and William Ollie Ware.”
