LELAND – William Clifton Ware, 84, mechanic and farmer, died of heart failure Sunday at Delta Regional Medical Center in Greenville. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Boone Funeral Home with burial in Hollandale Cemetery.

He was a former deacon at Lakeview Baptist Church and a World War II Air Force veteran.

Mr. Ware, the husband of Geneva Wade Ware, also leaves a sister, Jessie Mae Boykin of Vicksburg, and two brothers, Howard Ware of Leland and John Ware of Spiro, Okla.
