A biography came out in 1996, by Constance Chen called “The Sex Side of Life” Mary Ware Dennett’s Pioneering Battle for Birth Control and Sex Education. Published by The New Press,NY and distributed by W.W. Norton and Company, Inc.
Mary was my grandmother Alice Ware Armstrong’s favorite cousin and Alice joined the Boston Arts and Crafts Society, founded by Mary and her husband in the early 1950’s.
