BOONSBORO – Billy Franklin Ware, 58, of Boonsboro, died Sunday, March 5, 2006, at his home. Born Nov. 2, 1947, in Jackson, Miss., he was the son of the late Billy Rudolph Ware and Mary Lee McCarver, and the grandson of the late Robert and Mattie Ware, who raised him. He was a graduate of Mercer University and Antioch School of Law. He was a special-education teacher at Jefferson School in Frederick County, Md. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War, serving in the U.S. Army. He was a member of Medairy Masonic Lodge 140 in Williamsport. He is survived by his wife, Julie H. Blair, whom he married April 16, 1983; one daughter, Jennifer L. Ware of Boonsboro; one son, Crosby F. Blair of Boonsboro; and one brother, Melvin Johnson of Sisco, Texas. Private Masonic services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at his home. There will be no viewing or visitation. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Jefferson School, P.O. Box 9, Jefferson, MD 21755. Arrangements are by Bast Funeral Home, Boonsboro.
