Frank Ware, 87, of Beloit, Wisconsin, died, Friday, June 8, 2012 at Beloit Memorial Hospital in Beloit. Frank Ware was born on December 2, 1924 in Starkville, Mississippi the son of Butch Ware and A.D. Peterson. He married the former Louise Garner on June 11, 1966 in Beloit. Mr. Ware served in the United States Army during World War II. He was employed as a truck driver, first for Rock River Lumber, then at Blackhawk Lumber and later at First National Bank in Beloit, retiring in 2003. Frank was a longtime member of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Beloit where he served on the Trustee Board. He enjoyed working in his yard and with his flowers. The family would like to thank the staff at Alden Meadow Park, Beloit Memorial Hospital, and Beloit Regional Hospice for the love and care they provided to Frank. Mr. Ware is survived by his wife, Louise Ware of Beloit, daughter, Geraldine Ware of Madison, Wisconsin, step-daughter, Betty Jean of Madison, WI, along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. He was preceded in death by his stepson, William “Pickle”, and parents. Funeral services are 12:00 p.m. Friday, June 15, 2012 at Emmanuel Baptist Church in Beloit. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Entombment will follow the service in the mausoleum at Floral Lawn Cemetery, South Beloit, Illinois.
