Calvin W. Ware Obituary, 2001

WALLINGFORD – Calvin W. Ware, 51, of High Street, Wallingford, died Wednesday, Aug. 15, 2001, in his home. Mr. Ware was born in Providence, R.I., Oct. 9, 1949, and had been a Wallingford resident for many years. He had been employed by Cytec of Wallingford for 21 years until his retirement in 1994 due to illness. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War, having served in the U.S. Marine Corps, and was a life member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Lufbery Post No. 591 of Wallingford and was a parishioner of the Church of Resurrection. He is survived by his parents, Calvin E. and Mary LeBlanc Ware of Wallingford; his children, Renee Jean Ware of Tifton, Ga., Joseph Simon Ware of Wallingford, Brandi Ramos of Meriden, Crystal Marie Ware of Daytona, Fla. and Calvin William Ware Jr. of Holly Hills, Fla.; his two sisters, Donna Jean Ware of Virginia Beach, Va., and Donna Marie Smith of Meriden; his brother, Gary William Ware of Wallingford; his aunt and uncle, Thomas and Rose Duquette of Warwick, R.I.; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his mother, Donna M. Bullock Ware. His family will receive relatives and friends in the Wallingford Funeral Home, 809 N. Main St. Ext., Wallingford, Friday (TODAY) from 4 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 8:30 a.m. from the Wallingford Funeral Home, when the funeral cortege will proceed to the Church of the Resurrection for a Mass of Christian burial at 9:30 a.m. Interment will be in the State Veterans Cemetery in Middletown.
