Vivian W. (Larsen) Ware, 69, of Manchester, wife of Frederick D. Ware, died Monday (April 5, 1999) at an area convalescent home. Born in West Hartford, March 11, 1925, she was raised in Farmington and had been a resident of Manchester since 1950. Vivian was a secretary at the North United Methodist Church in Manchester for many years and a volunteer at Manchester Memorial Hospital. Besides her husband, she is survived by her children and their spouses, Mark and Carey Ware of Capistrano Beach, CA; David and Sharon Ware of Palm Beach Gardens, FL; Karen and Dennis Gagnon of Putnam; and Peter and Patricia Ware of Coventry; six grandchildren, Susan Katz- Gordan, Amanda and Abbie Gagnon, Jacob, Lindsay, and John Ware; a brother, Thomas Larsenof Unionville; a sister, Wanda Morrison of Manchester; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Erik Larsen. A Memorial service will be held Friday, April 9, 10 a.m. at St. Mary’s Episcopal Church, 41 Park Street, Manchester. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Manchester Memorial Hospital Hospice Program, c/o M.M.H. Development Fund, 71 Haynes Street, Manchester, 06040.
