WARE – Colin Campbell Entered into rest on January 8, 2011; is survived by Wanda Higdon, his beloved of 13 years; five daughters, six grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Born August 25, 1927 in Medford, MA, Colin received his grade school education in Massachusetts. In 1943, the family moved to Illinois, where he attended high school and enlisted in the Army and subsequently joined the Air Force. Colin graduated with Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1953. MENSA member and avid researcher, his lifework involved finding tools to explain the Theory of Everything (TOE). He has received numerous awards and accolades. The most recent one is Strathmore’s Who’s Who Honors Lifetime Member. With Wanda, Colin enjoyed many aspects of life such as dancing, traveling the globe and events at the Senior Center of Tonawanda and activities of Polish Arts Club of Buffalo. The family will plan a celebration of his life at a later date. In his memory, donations to Hospice Buffalo would be greatly appreciated. Arrangements by BUFFALO NIAGARA CREMATION SERVICE, 855-1411.
