STILLWATER — Linda Ward Ware, 50, of Elm Lane, Stillwater, died Wednesday, November 15, 2000 at the Saratoga Hospital, following a long illness. Born in Manchester, CT, September 22, 1950, daughter of Roy E. Ward of Charleston, SC and the late Pearl Tuttle. She had been a psychiatric nurse at Methodist Hospital in Baton Rouge, LA until her illness. A veteran of the US Army having served in Germany. Survivors in addition to her father, Roy E. Ward of Charleston, SC, include one brother, Kevin Ward of South Windsor, CT; one sister, Merle (Cookie) Mohrbutter of Stillwater; five nieces, Merle T., Barbara L., Michelle P. Baker, all of Stillwater, Christina T. and Sara A. Ward, both of CT; one great-grand niece, Casey A. Baker of Stillwater. A gathering of relatives and friends will commence Saturday at 12 noon at the Dunn Funeral Homes, Inc., 319 Park Avenue, Mechanicville. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. with the Reverend Richard E. Hoffman officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, Inc., 7 Washington Square, Albany, NY 12205, in her memory.
